About Jill

Having achieved her creative certificate in Advanced Flower Arranging after a four-year City & Guilds design course Jill went on to become the florist for the famous Old Swan Hotel in Harrogate; a position she has held for seventeen years.

Jill has been awarded The Royal Horticultural Society Grenfell Medal for Best in Show for flower arranging. She has also won numerous further awards and trophies for her floral creations and was chosen to design and create the Presentation Bouquet when the Queen visited Harrogate.

This extensive experience has enabled Jill and her team to gain the reputation across the region for providing the highest quality work and unbeatable service for her clients whilst accommodating budgets of every size.

As one of the north’s top floral designers Jill is frequently asked by television producers to create spectacular floral sets for major series including the Wedding of the Year for the Fat Friend production at Fountain’s Abbey.

She works with a very wide range of clients at some of the north’s finest wedding and events venues including Dine at Allerton Castle, Duncombe Park, The Old Swan Hotel, Rudding Park, Goldsborough Hall, Hazelwood Castle amongst many others.

For many years Jill has exhibited at Wedding Fairs across Yorkshire and recently her flowers featured a one page spread in Yorkshire Brides for a magnificent wedding at Allerton Castle.
